Alex Yelenskiy, M.D.
Dr. Alex Yelenskiy is a glaucoma fellowship-trained ophthalmologist. He also specializes in cataract and comprehensive ophthalmology. Dr. Yelenskiy is a top graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and completed his ophthalmology residency at Tulane University in New Orleans. While training at Tulane, he developed a reputation for being a skilled surgeon as well as being dedicated to cutting-edge research. He enjoyed working in various cities, including Biloxi, Mississippi and New Orleans and Alexandria, Louisiana. Subsequently, he completed a productive and fulfilling glaucoma fellowship with the UCLA Doheny/Stein Eye Institute. He was able to publish further research on the most recent advances in glaucoma, as well as perform some of the most advanced glaucoma surgeries.
He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Glaucoma Society, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. He aims to provide highly personalized quality care utilizing the latest and most effective technological advancements in the medical and surgical care of the patient with eye disease.
