DR. EVELYN TRAN

EVELYN TRAN, M.D.

Dr. Evelyn Tran, M.D. is a refractive cataract surgeon and comprehensive ophthalmologist. 

She is a Los Angeles native. She attended the top ranked liberal arts school Williams College on an academic scholarship and graduated with a B.A. in Biology and a concentration in Spanish. Following college, she joined the UCLA Broad Stem Cell Research Center, contributing to high-impact publications. She attended Thomas Jefferson University for medical school and was rewarded with a research scholarship at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital. During her time in medical school, she was also president of the Ophthalmology Society and recognized by numerous national surgical, medical, and physician leadership societies. 

Dr. Tran completed her internship at Riverside Community Hospital and ophthalmology training at Temple University. During residency, she was selected as an American Academy of Ophthalmology Advocacy Ambassador to represent the state of Pennsylvania. She is published in numerous prestigious ophthalmology journals. She is board eligible and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. 

Dr. Tran is excited to join Helm Vision Group and looks forward to providing compassionate, highest quality care for each and every one of her patients. Outside of taking care of patients, she enjoys hiking, skiing, ice skating, and karaoking.
